Hi, we're Caitlyn and Ashley! We're just two best friends navigating life together.

And as we've gone through college, partners, kids, work, and more together – we thought it would be so much fun to embark on this passion project together!

We met in a painting class during our respective freshman and sophomore years of college. We were instantly drawn to each other.

After awkwardly staring at each other for an hour, we started a conversation and realized that we both grew up on Maui. We've been pals ever since!

After years of dinner dates, girl talks, dancing, crying, and never ending calls, here we are.

After years of living close to each other on Maui, Caitlyn decided to move to Nashville.

As they transitioned from happy hour dates to long Facetime calls, they noticed that they both were constantly wearing their favorite matching sweatshirts almost every time they called each other from home.

After some time, those sweatshirts started to get worn and stretched out. And they were so bummed that they didn't know where they could get another pair of the PERFECT sweatshirts.

After months of joking about creating their own sweatshirt brand so they would never have this issue again, the idea of Sweet Sweats was born!

Sweet Sweats is about girlhood, friendship, and the universal need for a go-to cute and comfy sweatshirt.

We've created this brand as a vessel for us to create something fun and cozy with our best friend. Because wearing your favorite sweatshirt on the daily should feel just as comfy as Face-timing your best friend on a Tuesday night with a glass of wine.
